We have always been friends first. We share everything with each other. This is probably not believable, but we have never gotten into a fight. We have disagreed on certain subjects, but never fought about it. We call or text each other several times a day. Just to touch base with each other.
I actually need more work on being his help meet. The house is not always clean when he gets in. If we have had a busy day home schooling, I am worn out. My cooking is improving. I have added a few more family favorites to my repertoire.
I love this verse in today's article.
"Train the young women to…love their husband.” Titus 2:4
It reminds me that Jonaya is watching me. She is going to treat and care for her future husband the way she sees me do it. That is a lot of responsibility.

Hi Desiree,
ReplyDeleteThis is nice post. My Husband happened to be near me when I was reading it and neither of us could remember that R. Kelly song. . .so we looked it up on You Tube! LOL
I am visiting form the Time-Warp Wife link up and it is nice to "meet" you. Take care and God bless.

Hi Stacie, it's very nice, to "meet" you, too. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post and reminder that our daughters are indeed watching our every move.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, ~Lisa
(visiting from TimeWarpWife) :)
Thanks, Lisa.
ReplyDeleteI wish more moms thought about that - how their children are learning how to treat their future husbands. I can only remember my mother saying 2 things good about my dad, and even that was said with a 'tone'.
